When we did the calculation in class Friday I understood everything up until the end. We look at the table in the back of the book to get the critical value. What exactly does that number represent and how do you decide if there is a significant difference or not?
This message is in response to the critical values section above. The way to tell if you have significant results is if the calculated statistic is higher than the critical value. "Bigger is Better", as the prof would say.
